Abstract: Distributions and relative abundances of the Eledone cirrhosa and Eledone moschata species exist in Aegean Sea were analized by considering the seasonal data obtained in bottom trawl between 1991 and 1993. According to these result, it was determined that both species have different distribution features in Aegean Sea, both vertically and horizontally. Depending on depth it's evident that E.cirrhosa in various size prefers the stratum in different depth. Whereas E.moschata distributes relatively in the depth of 0-100 m. So regional, seasonal and vertical catch per unit effort (CPUE) of both species were calculated, and the regions, seasons and depths having maximum catch were determined for both species.
