Abstract: In this study, the concentrations of 15 clinic-chemical parameters, viz. total protein, albumin, glucose, insulin, creatinin, total and direct bilirubin, AST, ALT, ALK-P, CPK, GGT, calcium, inorganic phosphorus and magnesium were analysed from the seventh month of pregnancy to the second month of lactation in 13 Holstein cows. Highly significant (p<0.001) differences for total protein, albumin, glucose, creatinine, inorganic phosphorus, magnesium, AST and ALT; significant (p<0.01) differences for calcium; and significant (p<0.05) differences for total and direct bilirubin and urea concentrations were observed in investigated period.
