Abstract: In our research, the effect of UVB radiation on the amounts of Ca^{++}, inorganic P(Pi), K^+, Na^+, Mg^{++} , Cl^- in serums of 22 week- old Wistar-Albino rats was investigated. UVB radiation was applied to trial group animals at dosages used for treatment (4 J/ cm^2) for a period of 4 weeks. The blood samples were taken before the ray application as the control group. At the end of one month there was no change in the amounts of Pi, K^+, Mg^{++} but the level of serum -Ca^{++} increased significantly (P<0.01) in male and female rats in comparison with the control group. It was also detected that the level of serum -Na^+ increased in male rats (P<0.01) but the amount of serum -Cl^- decreased in female rats (P<0.01) in comparison with the control group.
