Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine some traits related with milk yield and composition of Tushin sheep reared in semi-intensive conditions. The results showed that the duration of lactation of the ewes, the milk yield, and the averages of daily milk yield, and the percentages of milk fat and dry matter were 136.8 days, 33.09 l, 0.273 l, 6.91 % and 17.2 % respectively. The linear effect of lactatiton duration was highly significant (p<0.01) on many traits connected with the investigated characteristics. According to the results, the Tushin breed is not recommended for milk production.
