Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify the localization of the T and B lymphocytes in Angora goat lymphoid tissues. Thymus, lymph node, spleen and ileal Peyer's patch samples taken from 20 adult Angora goats were used as a material. Alpha naphthyl acetate esterase (ANAE) staining was used to identify T lymphocytes, Immunperoxidase technique was used to identify B lymphocytes. ANAE positive lymphocytes were located in the thymic medulla, the paracortex of lymph nodes, the periarteriolar lymphoid sheath (PALS) and follicular area of the spleen, the corona and dome areas of the ileal PeyerÕs patches. Immunglobulin containing B cells were seen in the germinal center of lymph nodes, the germinal center and corona of the splenic white pulpe, the germinal center, corona and dome areas of the ileal PeyerÕs patches. Very few ANAE positive lymphocytes were seen in the germinal center and very few B lymhocytes were seen in the T cells region.
