Abstract: In this study, the birth weights, weaning weights, pre-weaning daily weight gains, live weights at the end of the grazing period, average daily live weight gains, body weights after shearing and greasy fleece weights were determined. The year had a significant (P<0.05) effect on body weight after shearing and highly significant (P<0.01) effect on all other traits. Age of ewes had a significant (P<0.05) effect on pre-weaning daily weight gain. The breed had a highly significant (P<0.01) effect on all the traits investigated in this study except for birth weight and body weight after shearing. The effect of sex on all traits mentioned above was significant (P<0.05) and highly significant (P<0.01). The type of birth also had a highly significant (P<0.01) effect on the birth weight, weaning weight and pre-weaning daily weight gain. All linear regressions were determined to be statistically highly significant (P<0.01).
