The Condition and Peculiarities of Remote Sensing of Earth (RSE) in Ukraine

Abstract: The national space program of Ukraine with heavy emphasis on ecological monitoring and environmental protection efforts is decribed. Estalishment of National Space Agency, remote sensing satellite programs till 1995 and beyond the international cooperations efforts as well as other programs planned by the agency are described.
