Some String Cosmological Models in Cylindrically Symmetric Inhomogeneous Universe

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to investigate the behavior of a string in the cylindrically symmetric inhomogeneous cosmological model. It has been assumed that expansion \theta in the model is proportional to \sigma^1_1 of the eigenvalue of the shear tensor \sigma^{\mu}_{\nu}. Also, various physical and geometrical properties of the model have been discussed.
