Bulk Modulus Calculations for Liquid Binary Alloys

Abstract: In this work, the bulk modulus values as functions of concentration for K-Na, Cs-Na and Rb-Na liquid binary alloys have been studied in the framework of the Gibbs-Bogoliubov(GB) method[1-2]. We have used the local Heine-Abarenkov pseudopotential and Ichimaru-Utsumi screening function[3] and Percus-Yevick partial structure factors in these alloys. The results have been compared with the experimental values[4].
