The Role of the Structure Factor in Analising the Antiferromagnetic Spin Orderings

Abstract: Theoretically, there are many different ways to find out spin orderings [1-3]. In this study , we show that this can be done by the structure factor as well. Using the k points, which minimise the structure factor, we found the spin orderings of the square and the triangular lattice for the Heisenberg model. Although, the study covers only two dimensions, it can be easly generated to three dimensions as well.
