Abstract: Relaxation times as functions of Zn^{2+} and Al^{3+} contents and temperature of sintering are studied for the compositions of Ni_{1-X}Zn_{X} Al_{t}Fe_{2-t}O_{4}. It is observed that with the addition of Zn^{2+} the relaxation time decreases, while it increases with the addition of Al^{3+}. The relaxation time decreases if the temperature of sintering is increased. The change in relaxation times have been related to change in \Delta E- the activation energy. The compositions of ferrites investigated were prepared by standard ceramic method.
