Photoresponse of Metal / As2S3 / Metal Devices

Abstract: Solution-deposited (SD) thin films As2S3 on glass slides have been used for the fabrication of Al/As2S3/Al, Ag/As2S3/Al and Cu/As2S3/Al devices and for which the dependence of current densities of these devices at various wavelenght of light were measured. Transmittance and energy gap of these films were also measured. The results obtained show that As2S3 films prepared by this simple method could also be wider application.
