Abstract: True aneurysms of the PFA are uncommon. Rupture risk in true PFA aneurysms are extremely high (42%). Therefore a rapid evaluation and treatment planning is essential. Ultrasonography and color Doppler ultrasonography have priority in diagnosis of these cases. Angiography, CT and CT angiography are performed in conjunction with ultrasonography for planning the procedure before surgical treatment and follow-up after treatment.
