Abstract: A study of tuberculin sensitivity was performed on 387 healthy children aged 11-15 to test the hypothesis that non-right handedness is associated with immunological abnormalities. The size of tuberculin indurance was compared in right-handed and left-handed children. Our results demonstrated that there is no significant difference in the size of tuberculin induration between right-handed and left -handed children. We conclude that tuberculin sensitivity is not related to hand perference.
