Pytochemical Screening of the Specimens from İdris Mountain (Turkey) ll

Abstract: A total of 154 taxa representing 11 families have been screened for the presence of cardiac glycosides, volatile oils, flavonoids, anthocyanins, alkaloids, saponins, anthraquinones, coumarins and tannins. The number of positive test obtained was 1 for cardiac glycosides, 40 for volatile oils, 149 for flavonoids, 39 for anthocyanins, 21 for alkaloids, 30 for saponins, 87 for coumarins, and 44 for tannins; no positive reaction was observed for anthraquinones.
