Abstract: An association between handedness and immune disorders remains controversial. We examined the differences in lymphocyte subsets between left-handed and right-handed subjects. Left-handed subjects had significantly lower total T cells (CD3+) than right-handed ones. No significant differences were observed for CD4+ cells, CD8+ cells, B cells (CD19+) or the ratio of CD4: CD8.
