Study of Heat Transfer in Concentric Annulus Flow by Liquid-Crystal Technique

Abstract: In this, forced convection heat transfer on the inner surface in horizontal concentric annular duct flow was experiments were carried out for three different diameter ratios, 0.5, 0.667 and 0.778 in the Reynolds number range from 7000 to 35000. Experimental data obtained were compared with the data in the literature and the average Nusselt number was correlated as function of diameter ratio and Reynolds numbers.
