Abstract: In this paper, the flow of a viscous fluid due to the non-coaxial rotations of a disk and the fluid at infinity with a slight angular velocity difference is studied. The effect of angular velocity difference on the velocity field is analyzed in detail. A perturbation series which is expressed in powers of the rotation parameter with nearly the same angular velocity and the shooting method using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta procedure are employed to solve the problem. It is proved that the results obtained by the two methods are in good agreement.
