Particle Concentration Measurements in Turbulent Gas-Solid Flows Through Horizontal Rectangular Ducts

Abstract: The digital method previously developed by Lourenço and Riethmuller (1980) using 'single Laser beam technique' was modified as 'double cross-beam technique' to measure the local particle concentrations in turbulently flowing gas-solid suspensions through horizontal rectangular ducts and the two techniques were compared with each other.
