An Energy Analysis for a Type of Liquid Carbon Steel Production in an Electric Arc Furnace

Abstract: In this study, an energy analysis is done for the production of a type of liquid carbon steel in the electric arc furnace of an important alloy steel producer of Turkey, using a computer program based on the first law of thermodynamics, and the results of the analysis are presented.
