Abstract: A universal external ballistic trajectory model for unguided projectiles is developed in this study. The mathematical model is based on the Maclaurin Series. The Maclaurin Series coefficients are predicted empirically. The method not only considers the aerodynamics of the projectile but also the effect of the height of the location of the gun above sea level. The results of the application of this method for several different calibers of projectiles are compared with the trajectory radar measurements and the modified point mass trajectory model results.
