Abstract: A series of laboratory experiments was performed in order to investigate momentum and kinetic energy correction coefficients in asymmetric rectangular compound cross-section channels. The Reynolds number varied between 14,348.9 and 54,868.2, as relative depth (Y_r) changed from 0.155 to 0.825. Kinetic energy and momentum correction coefficients, \alpha and \beta, were computed for 9 different models. As a result, the values of \alpha and \beta considering 106 data points related to 9 distinct cross-sections averaged 1.1525 and 1.1261, respectively.
