Abstract: The aerial parts of Andrachne aspera belonging to the family Euphorbiaceae yielded four new piperidine alkaloids: aspertin-A (1), aspertin-B (2), aspertin-C (3) and aspertin-D (4). The structures of isolated alkaloids were elucidated by NMR, mass spectrometery and chemical means.
