The Flora of Gülümbe Dagi (Bilecik-Turkey) Atila OCAK, Süleyman TOKUR

Abstract: This paper deals with the floristical characteristics and the taxa of the vascular plants of Gülümbe Dagi. Between the years 1992 and 1995, 1035 plant specimens were collected from the study area. After the identification of these specimens, 456 taxa at specific and subspecific ranks belonging to 74 families were determined. Sixty-three taxa were defined as new records for the A2 square. The largest family was found to be Asteraceae (52 species) and the second largest was Fabaceae (51 species). The largest genera were AlyssumL. and Salvia L. (8 species each). The phytogeographical spectrum of the species was found to be as follows: Mediterranean elements, 77; Irano-Turanian elements, 48; and Euro-Siberian, 40.
