Abstract: The nutrient relationships between Cuscuta epithymum (L.) L. var. epithymum and its common host Heliotropium europaeum L. in the Middle Black Sea Region were investigated. It was determined that C. epithymum var. epithymum accumulate greater concentrations of nutrients ranging from 1,24 to 2.50 in respect to host species compared with other parasitic species. Additionally, active and passive nutrient uptake theories were also discussed.
