Abstract: Blood samples were taken from agricultural workers who had been exposed to pesticides for long periods in Içel and the surrounding agricultural areas (n=150) and levels of AST, ALT, ALP, LDH, total protein, albumin and globulin in serum were determined. The same parameters were measured in 64 persons who are not exposed to pesticides in any way. Study group showed significantly higher levels of AST, ALT, ALP and LDH (p<0.05) but lower levels proteins than those in controls (p<0.05).
