Authors: DURMUŞ ALİ SÖYLER, NEŞET ARSLAN

Abstract: The study was carried out in the greenhouse of the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ankara, in 1994. The experiment was conducted in split-plots design in randomised plots with four replications. Cuttings were treated with various concentrations of IBA; IAA and NAA at different periods to induce rooting. The best rootings, 28 % and 29 %, were achieved by treatment of the cuttings with 500 ppm IAA in April and 250 ppm IBA in May for 12h.
