Determination of Cadmium Contents of Phosphate Fertilizers and Raw Phosphates

Abstract: In this study the cadmium contents of raw phosphate (RP) and phoshate fertilezers domestically produced or imported were determined. For this purpose, the raw phosphate and phosphate fertilizers samples were collected from imported and local RP and fertilizers. The selected companies were BAGFAŞ, Gübre Fabrikaları A.Ş., Ege Gübre, Toros Gübre and TÜGSAŞ which used RP imported from Syria, Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia and Mardin-Mazıdağı, for the purpose of produced phosphate fertilizers. Phosphate fertilizers imported from Germany, Romania, USA and Hungary were also tested
